Meg here!
A few things about me before we talk hair… I’m married to my husband, Patrick, and together we’re raising our two boys, Miles and Rowan. After spending more than a decade living in New York City, we recently traded city life for the Connecticut shoreline—and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
My path into hair wasn’t exactly a straight line. I earned my cosmetology license at 18, but after college I found myself working in fashion publishing at Hearst Magazines, helping bring brands like Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, and Esquire to life through marketing and events.
It was exciting, but something always felt a little off.
Hair never stopped calling me back.
Taking the leap into the beauty industry was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made—and also the one that changed everything.
For the next 10 years, I worked behind the chair at Bumble and bumble’s flagship salon in New York City. I had opportunities I never could’ve imagined —working backstage during Fashion Week, styling at the first-ever Vogue World, collaborating with incredible brands, and meeting people from every walk of life.
As exciting as those experiences were, my favorite part has always been the person sitting in my chair. It’s the conversations. The trust. Watching someone settle into the chair as themselves and leave feeling a little lighter.
Today you’ll find me at Rebel Hair in New Haven, bringing everything I learned in New York to Connecticut. My goal has never been to create “perfect” hair. I want to create hair that feels effortless, grows out beautifully, and fits the way you actually live.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to meet you.
